Doctors, dentists and optometrists are once again donating their services to the community for Senator Janet Nguyen’s 12th annual free Health Expo.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at Concorde Career College in Garden Grove. The healthcare professionals are affiliated with Lestonnac Free Clinic, which provides free services to low income and uninsured Southern California residents through the support of donors.
Medical services provided at the expo will include routine physicals, prescriptions, eye exams, prescription eyeglasses, teeth cleaning, fillings and extractions. Senator Janet Nguyen served hundreds of residents at her last Health Expo.
“Good medical care is expensive and not everyone has insurance,” the senator said. “These doctors are extremely generous to donate their time. Thank you also to the other donors Coastline Community College, Orange County Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership and Central County Foundation.”
