Senator Tony Strickland (R–Huntington Beach) released a statement in response to the deadly terrorist attack in Australia targeting the Jewish community:
“Carla and I extend our deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones in this horrific and senseless terrorist attack. This violence occurred at the beginning of one of the most sacred and meaningful holidays for the Jewish community—a time dedicated to peace, reflection, and love.
“I unequivocally condemn this hatred and violence. These attacks are not random; the steady rise of antisemitic rhetoric and hostility fuels them. We must reject and confront antisemitism wherever it appears, stand in solidarity with the Jewish community, and take decisive action to ensure our communities are safe.”
