October Newsletter: Delivering Results for Our Communities and Local Economies

I'm proud to announce my bipartisan legislation -- Senate Bill 364, which streamlines the outdoor advertising permitting process and boosts local economic investment -- has officially been signed into law!

This new law will:

  • Simplify the permitting process for businesses looking to invest in our communities
  • Support local governments by generating much-needed revenue
  • Maintain responsible oversight while fostering a more business-friendly environment

This law is a practical solution that will make it easier for businesses to grow while ensuring our cities and counties remain strong partners in shaping thoughtful development.

Special thanks to the Orange County Transportation Authority, the City of Fountain Valley, the Orange County Council of Governments, and all the organizations and individuals who supported this bill. Your voices made a difference!

I’ll continue working across the aisle to bring commonsense solutions that support jobs, economic growth, and strong communities throughout California Senate District 36.

I'm also pleased to announce that the Orange County Veterans Cemetery is one step closer to reality. I joined a bipartisan group of lawmakers in passing Assembly Bill 571, now signed into law, to help pave the way.

Even better, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is now prioritizing this project for federal funding. OC is home to Army, Navy, and Marine Corps bases. It’s long overdue.

Now that the legislative session has concluded, I am in my district meeting with constituents, listening to your concerns, and sharing legislative updates.

From San Clemente to Artesia, my team and I are working hard to represent the incredible families and businesses that make Senate District 36 such a special place to serve.

Below are highlights:

Artesia Town Hall - I recently hosted a Town Hall in Artesia, where I provided a legislative update to attendees and engaged with concerned constituents. It was a great turnout, and I appreciated the thoughtful questions and strong community participation.
